Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 50 paise to Rs 249.60 per kilogram on Thursday due to fresh bets from speculators and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Jan 16 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose 50 paise to Rs 249.60 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February increased 50 paise or 0.2 per cent to Rs 249.60 per kg in 1,718 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
