Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium futures prices climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday, driven by fresh bets from speculators and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Dec 29 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday climbed 0.05 per cent to Rs 211.25 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for January delivery increased by 10 paise or 0.05 per cent to Rs 211.25 per kg in a business turnover of 4,935 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
