Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium prices climbed 0.5% on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Wednesday, driven by fresh positions from speculators and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Jan 24 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday climbed 0.5 per cent to Rs 201.15 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for January delivery increased by Re 1 or 0.5 per cent to Rs 201.15 per kg in a business turnover of 1,055 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
