Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets

Aluminium futures prices rose on Thursday, driven by fresh bets and positive trends in the spot market. Demand from consuming industries is supporting prices.
New Delhi, Feb 20 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose by Rs 1.55 to Rs 262.60 per kilogram in the futures market, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March increased by Rs 1.55 or 0.59 per cent to Rs 262.60 per kg in 2,522 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
