Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand - PTI

Aluminium futures prices fell on Wednesday due to reduced demand in the spot market. Analysts attribute the decline to a decrease in buying from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Apr 2 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday slipped Rs 1.15 to Rs 244.10 per kilogram in the futures trade as market participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May fell Rs 1.15 or 0.47 per cent to Rs 244.10 per kg in 384 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
