Aluminium Futures Rise on Speculator Bets

Aluminium futures prices rose on Tuesday due to fresh bets by speculators, driven by a positive trend in the spot market and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, May 14 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday rose 0.09 per cent to Rs 232.90 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for May delivery increased 20 paise or 0.09 per cent to Rs 232.90 per kg in a business turnover of 3,201 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
