Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 1.01% to Rs 774.60 per kg due to muted demand and position trimming by speculators.
New Delhi, Aug 7 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday fell 1.01 per cent to Rs 774.60 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for August delivery eased by Rs 7.90 or 1.01 per cent to Rs 774.60 per kg in a business turnover of 13,527 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
