Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose on Tuesday due to increased spot demand. Analysts attributed the rise to participants raising their bets.

New Delhi, Nov 5 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday rose 0.48 per cent to Rs 856.80 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery increased by Rs 4.10 or 0.48 per cent to Rs 856.80 per kg in a business turnover of 7,886 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
