Copper futures fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Monday due to muted demand in the domestic market. Speculators trimmed their positions, leading to a decline in prices.
New Delhi, Feb 5 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell 95 paise to Rs 721.10 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery eased by 95 paise or 0.13 per cent to Rs 721.10 per kg in a business turnover of 4,913 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
