Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures surged on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) due to increased demand for cattle feed and fresh speculation. Prices rose to Rs 2,745 per quintal.
New Delhi, Mar 25 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose Rs 16 to Rs 2,745 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded higher by Rs 16 or 0.58 per cent at Rs 2,745 per quintal with an open interest of 71,970 lots.

Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
