Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose in India on Tuesday due to increased demand for cattle feed and fresh bets by speculators.
New Delhi, Jan 14 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose Rs 10 to Rs 2,786 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for February delivery traded higher by Rs 10 or 0.36 per cent at Rs 2,786 per quintal with an open interest of 43,760 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for February delivery traded higher by Rs 10 or 0.36 per cent at Rs 2,786 per quintal with an open interest of 43,760 lots.
