Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand

Crude oil futures declined on Wednesday due to low demand, with MCX crude oil for January delivery falling to Rs 5,989 per barrel.
New Delhi, Jan 10 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Wednesday declined 0.75 per cent to Rs 5,989 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for January delivery fell Rs 45 or 0.75 per cent to Rs 5,989 per barrel with a business volume of 12,257 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.29 per cent lower at USD 72.03 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.28 per cent down at USD 77.37 per barrel in New York.
