Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures prices climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday, driven by increased demand and positive global market sentiment. West Texas Intermediate and Brent crude also saw gains.
New Delhi, Dec 4 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Wednesday climbed Rs 23 to Rs 5,952 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased their positions following a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery traded higher Rs 23 or 0.39 per cent at Rs 5,952 per barrel in 11,359 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.31 per cent higher at USD 70.16 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.35 per cent higher at USD 73.88 per barrel in New York.
