Crude Oil Prices Rise on Spot Demand | MCX Futures

New Delhi, Mar 25 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Tuesday rose Rs 34 to Rs 5,965 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased their positions following a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for April delivery traded higher by Rs 34 or 0.57 per cent at Rs 5,965 per barrel in 5,512 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.41 per cent higher at USD 69.39 per barrel while Brent crude was trading 0.40 per cent higher at USD 73.29 per barrel in New York.
