Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures prices gained Rs 32 to Rs 5,951 per barrel on Wednesday, driven by increased positions due to firm spot demand. Read more about the global oil market trends.
New Delhi, Mar 26 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Wednesday rose Rs 32 to Rs 5,951 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased their positions following a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for April delivery traded higher by Rs 32 or 0.54 per cent at Rs 5,951 per barrel in 5,366 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.20 per cent higher at USD 69.14 per barrel while Brent crude was trading 0.16 per cent higher at USD 73.14 per barrel in New York.
