Gold Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI

Gold prices fell Rs 126 to Rs 71,300 per 10 grams in futures trade on Monday due to weak global cues. Analysts attributed the fall to global price decline.

New Delhi, Sep 9 (PTI) Gold prices on Monday declined Rs 126 to Rs 71,300 per 10 grams in futures trade amid weak global cues.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for October delivery traded lower by Rs 126 or 0.18 per cent at Rs 71,300 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 14,825 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.

Globally, gold prices went down by 0.38 per cent to USD 2,488.05 per ounce in New York.
