Gold Futures Drop on Low Demand - PTI

Gold prices fell on Thursday due to reduced speculator positions and weak global cues. Gold futures traded lower on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Dec 28 (PTI) Gold prices on Thursday fell Rs 156 to Rs 63,522 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators reduced their positions.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold contracts for February delivery traded lower by Rs 156 or 0.24 per cent at Rs 63,522 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 16,286 lots.

Analysts attributed the fall in gold prices to weak global cues.

Globally, gold was trading 0.27 per cent lower at USD 2,087.50 per ounce in New York.
