Guar Gum Futures Fall: Demand Dips

Guar gum futures decline on low demand. January delivery falls on NCDEX. Weak spot market trend pressures prices.

New Delhi, Dec 4 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Thrusday fell Rs 17 to Rs 9,025 per quintal in the futures trade as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for January delivery declined by Rs 17 or 0.19 per cent to Rs 9,025 per quintal in 36,860 lots.

Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
