Guar gum futures decline on low demand. Traders offload holdings amid weak spot market trend. September delivery falls on NCDEX.
New Delhi, Aug 21 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Thursday fell Rs 97 to Rs 9,912 per quintal in the futures trade as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for September delivery declined by Rs 97 or 0.98 per cent to Rs 9,912 per quintal in 48,210 lots.

Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
