Guar Gum Futures Rise on Demand

Guar gum futures climbed Rs 62 to Rs 8,649 per quintal on firm demand. Speculators increased holdings on the NCDEX.
New Delhi, Oct 31 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Friday rose Rs 62 to Rs 8,649 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for November delivery traded higher Rs 62 or 0.72 per cent at Rs 8,649 per quintal with an open interest of 29,055 lots.

Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
