Silver Futures Plunge: Price Drops to Rs 89,680/kg

Silver prices fell on Tuesday, dropping Rs 70 to Rs 89,680 per kilogram as traders reduced their positions. Global silver prices also declined.
New Delhi, Jul 2 (PTI) Silver prices on Tuesday fell Rs 70 to Rs 89,680 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery declined by Rs 70 or 0.08 per cent to Rs 89,680 per kg in a business turnover of 23,667 lots.

Globally, silver was trading 0.18 per cent lower at USD 29.56 per ounce in New York.
