Silver Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

Silver prices in India rose on Friday, driven by increased spot demand. The rise was supported by positive domestic trends and global silver trading higher. Read more.
New Delhi, Oct 4 (PTI) Silver prices on Friday rose Rs 343 to Rs 93,321 per kilogram as participants widened their bets on a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery increased Rs 343 or 0.37 per cent to Rs 93,321 per kg in a business turnover of 1,328 lots.

Analysts said the rise in silver prices was mainly due to fresh positions built up by participants on a positive domestic trend.

Globally, silver was trading 0.48 per cent higher at USD 32.17 per ounce in New York.
