Zinc Futures Rise: Demand Boosts Prices

New Delhi, Nov 10 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose Rs 1.90 to Rs 300.40 per kilogram in futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded higher by Rs 1.90 or 0.64 per cent to Rs 300.40 per kilogram with a business turnover of 645 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries, kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
