Zinc prices surged on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased demand from consuming industries, leading to a rise in futures trade.
New Delhi, Nov 7 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose Rs 5.05 to Rs 283.10 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded higher by Rs 5.05 or 1.82 per cent at Rs 283.10 per kg with a business turnover of 504 lots.
