Copper futures fell 0.33% to Rs 823.55 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand and trimming of positions by speculators.
New Delhi, Oct 10 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday fell 0.33 per cent to Rs 823.55 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for October delivery eased by Rs 2.70 or 0.33 per cent to Rs 823.55 per kg in a business turnover of 8,454 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
