Copper futures decline in New Delhi due to reduced positions and muted domestic demand. September contracts ease on MCX.
New Delhi, Aug 5 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday fell 40 paise to Rs 891.50 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for September delivery eased 40 paise or 0.04 per cent to Rs 891.50 per kilogram in a business turnover of 1,275 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
