Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climbed 1.03% to Rs 1,004.70/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand. Analysts cite higher participant bets.
New Delhi, Oct 6 (PTI) Copper futures rose 1.03 per cent to Rs 1,004.70 per kilogram on Monday due to higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery grew Rs 10.20 or 1.03 per cent to Rs 1,004.70 per kg in a business turnover of 1,400 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
