Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on Wednesday due to increased demand and fresh positions created by speculators on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Jan 29 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday rose Rs 10 to Rs 2,682 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for February delivery traded higher by Rs 10 or 0.37 per cent at Rs 2,682 per quintal with an open interest of 44,560 lots.

Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
