New Delhi, Oct 15 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday decreased Rs 182 to Rs 11,497 per quintal in futures trade as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for November delivery traded lower by Rs 182 or 1.58 per cent at Rs 11,497 per quintal with an open interest of 53,825 lots.

Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
