Aluminium Futures Decline on Low Demand

Aluminium futures prices fell on Thursday due to weak demand from consuming industries. The Multi Commodity Exchange saw aluminium prices decline by Rs 3.15 per kg.
New Delhi, Apr 3 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday decreased Rs 3.15 to Rs 239.95 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May fell Rs 3.15 or 1.3 per cent to Rs 239.95 per kg in 567 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
