Guar Gum Futures Rise on Strong Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices rose on Tuesday due to firm spot demand and increased speculator holdings. The April contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange traded higher at Rs 10,353 per quintal.
New Delhi, Feb 18 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday inched up by Rs 8 to Rs 10,353 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for April delivery traded higher by Rs 8 or 0.08 per cent at Rs 10,353 per quintal with an open interest of 2,030 lots.

Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
