Guar Gum Futures Rise on Strong Demand - PTI

Guar gum futures prices surged on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased demand and speculation. Learn more about the factors influencing the market.
New Delhi, Feb 24 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Monday rose by Rs 53 to Rs 10,099 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings amid a firm spot demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for April delivery traded higher by Rs 53 or 0.52 per cent at Rs 10,099 per quintal with an open interest of 49,515 lots.

Analysts said after tracking a firm physical market trend, traders raised their bets, which led to the rise in guar gum prices.
