Zinc prices fell 0.19% on Friday to Rs 288.40 per kg due to weak demand and reduced speculation, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Dec 6 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday fell 0.19 per cent to Rs 288.40 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded 55 paise or 0.19 per cent lower at Rs 288.40 per kg in 3,482 lots.

Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
