Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices in India climbed on Thursday due to increased demand from consuming industries, according to the Press Trust of India. Learn more about the factors impacting zinc prices.
New Delhi, Oct 3 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday climbed Rs 2 to Rs 286.45 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for October delivery traded higher Rs 2 or 0.7 per cent at Rs 286.45 per kg with a business turnover of 1,584 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade. PTI dr
