Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand

Aluminium futures prices fell on Wednesday due to low demand from consuming industries. The price dropped by 20 paise to Rs 237.50 per kilogram on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Nov 13 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday slipped 20 paise to Rs 237.50 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in December fell 20 paise or 0.08 per cent to Rs 237.50 per kg in 1,605 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
