Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand - PTI

Aluminium prices fell 5 paise to Rs 199.80 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Friday due to low demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Jan 19 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday declined 5 paise to Rs 199.80 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February fell by 5 paise or 0.03 per cent to Rs 199.80 per kg in 2,445 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
