Aluminium prices fell on Wednesday due to weak demand from consuming industries, according to the Press Trust of India. The decline was seen on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Feb 14 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday declined 40 paise to Rs 199.70 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February fell 40 paise or 0.2 per cent to Rs 199.70 per kg in 2,863 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
