Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand

Aluminium futures fell on Monday due to low demand from consuming industries. The price dropped by 65 paise to Rs 244.55 per kilogram on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Oct 14 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday declined 65 paise to Rs 244.55 per kilogram in the futures market, as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in October fell 65 paise or 0.27 per cent to Rs 244.55 per kg in 1,166 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
