Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand

Aluminium futures prices fell on Tuesday due to weak demand from consuming industries. The Multi Commodity Exchange saw aluminium prices decline by 35 paise to Rs 242.65 per kg.
New Delhi, Oct 29 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday slipped 35 paise to Rs 242.65 per kilogram in the futures market, as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in November fell 35 paise or 0.85 per cent to Rs 242.65 per kg in 3,512 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
