Aluminium futures prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand from consuming industries. Participants reduced their positions, leading to a decline in prices.
New Delhi, Dec 3 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday slipped 30 paise to Rs 242.35 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in December fell 30 paise or 0.12 per cent to Rs 242.35 per kg in 3,365 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
