Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand
Aluminium prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand from consuming industries. The March contract closed at Rs 259.30 per kg, down Re 1 from the previous day.

New Delhi, Feb 24 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday slipped by Re 1 to Rs 259.30 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions amid a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March fell by Re 1 or 0.38 per cent to Rs 259.30 per kg in 2,939 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
