Aluminium futures prices fell on Tuesday due to weak demand from consuming industries. The price decline was also influenced by a weak spot market trend.
New Delhi, Dec 5 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday declined Rs 1.25 to Rs 198.90 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in December fell by Rs 1.25 or 0.62 per cent to Rs 198.90 per kg in 4,239 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
