Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium prices surged 0.86% to Rs 217.90 per kg in futures trade on Wednesday, driven by fresh bets from speculators and a positive spot market trend.
New Delhi, Aug 14 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday climbed 0.86 per cent to Rs 217.90 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for August delivery increased Rs 1.85 or 0.86 per cent to Rs 217.90 per kg in a business turnover of 3,951 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
