Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI
Aluminium prices in India rose on Thursday, driven by increased demand from consuming industries and fresh positions built by speculators in the futures market.
New Delhi, Feb 13 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose 75 paise to Rs 256.15 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March increased 75 paise or 0.29 per cent to Rs 256.15 per kg in 381 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
