Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI
Aluminium futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 60 paise to Rs 256.60 per kg on Monday, driven by fresh bets and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Feb 17 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose 60 paise to Rs 256.60 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March increased 60 paise or 0.23 per cent to Rs 256.60 per kg in 2,050 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
