Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI
Aluminium futures prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose on Thursday due to fresh bets from speculators and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Mar 6 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose Rs 2.45 to Rs 261.45 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in April increased Rs 2.45 or 0.95 per cent to Rs 261.45 per kg in 309 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
