Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI
Aluminium prices surged on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) driven by fresh bets and positive spot market trends. Speculators and consuming industries fueled the price rise.
New Delhi, Mar 10 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose 25 paise to Rs 263.10 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in April increased 25 paise or 0.1 per cent to Rs 263.10 per kg in 567 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
