Aluminium Futures Rise on Speculative Bets

Aluminium prices climbed 0.41% on the Multi Commodity Exchange driven by fresh bets from speculators and positive sentiment in the spot market.

New Delhi, May 21 (PTI) Aluminium price on Tuesday rose 0.41 per cent to Rs 243.45 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for May delivery increased Re 1 or 0.41 per cent to Rs 243.45 per kg in a business turnover of 2,352 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
