Aluminium Futures Surge on Demand & Spot Market Strength

Aluminium futures prices climbed on Monday, driven by increased demand from consuming industries and a positive trend in the spot market.
New Delhi, Sep 9 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday climbed 0.85 per cent to Rs 218.45 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for September delivery increased 39 paise or 0.85 per cent to Rs 218.45 per kg in a business turnover of 3,982 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
