Copper futures fell 0.32% on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to reduced positions and weak demand in the domestic market. Analysts attribute the decline to speculator trimming.
New Delhi, Dec 17 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday fell 0.32 per cent to Rs 815.60 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery eased by Rs 2.60 or 0.32 per cent to Rs 815.60 per kg in a business turnover of 8,096 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
